The VILLIGER 1888 Nicaragua series has been expanded with a new format. Since March 2026, the Churchill format (7 x 47) has been available in German and Swiss specialist shops. With this addition, the series now comprises six formats. The Churchill format is also the largest format in the series to date and is considered a classic vitola in the cigar world. The planned smoking time is at least 90 minutes. This format has been available in the USA since April 2025. The blend is medium-bodied. A ligero filler from Pennsylvania is used as a defining element, which is intended to give the flavor profile a special note. The cigars are rolled, banded, and packaged at the company's own factory, "VILLIGER de Nicaragua," in Estelí, Nicaragua.
